From the Fat Quarter Gazette--September 2009
Service Project Idea
Are you interested in helping someone finish a quilt? We have heard of a request from a member of Village Adventist Church who needs help in finishing a quilt. She lives in Milton-Freewater and has requested a student for WWU Service Day who knows how to sew to help finish a quilt. Service Day organizers are concerned they won't find a student. All the materials are provided. If you are interested in this project, contact Marlene for details.

ее Helpine Request: The Executive Director of Help Line addressed the group describing the new women's shelter for single homeless women. They could use quilts for twin sized beds, clothing for job interviews and hygiene products. The quilts need to be the type that can be washed frequently.
