About Our Raffle Quilts

Every two years the WWVQG prepares a quilt to raffle as a fundraiser. Funds raised are used to help cover the expenses of the Guild projects. The queen-size 2008-2009 quilt is titled A Bouquet of Friendship. It was designed by Lynn Wilson and Mary Crowther. The blocks were made by the members of the Guild using the same white-on-white fabric for the background of each block and any small-medium floral print that the member chose for his or her block. The backing on the quilt is a a medium sized, white on light green, floral print. The quilting was done by Suzanne Young. The quilt, completed in March, 2009, was displayed for eight months in various locations in the Walla Walla Valley.

The Guild is appreciative of those vendors and other locations for their willingness to allow space for display of the quilt.
